Scenic spots in Nanyang

Baotianman, a national nature reserve, is the only well-preserved ecological zone of forest and wild animals in the Central Plains. Xixia's Laojieling, the mountain top of Funiu Mountain, has unusually beautiful mountain peaks and towering old trees. Peaks of the miraculous Tongbai Mountain look like sculptures. Picturesque clean water is the source of Huaihe River. Numerous dinosaur egg fossils found in Nanyang shocked the world and were honored as the ninth wonder of the world. Danjiangkou Reservoir Scenic Spot is the largest reservoir in Asia and the headwork of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. In downtown Nanyang, Dushan Forest Park and Qilin Lake, boasting picturesque sceneries, are backyard gardens of the urban area.
