Community in Nanyang gets excited about science

The Niuwangmiao community in Nanyang city, Henan province has been listed among the top 500 communities in China that have made great strides in getting people excited about science.

Representatives from the Chinese Association for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Finance, paid a visit to the community to unveil a commemorative plaque on July 25.

By following the principles of believing that development comes from science and education, the community has come up with innovative ways to get young people interested in science, including holding events and competitions.
