Reporters in Nanyang, Henan province were deeply impressed by the newly renovated local Science & Technology Museum when they visited it on Oct 18.
Nanyang Science & Technology Museum was originally established in 1987. The local government took over a year to renovate it, and the museum was expanded from 2,780 square meters to 5,400 square meters, with more exhibitions being installed.
The museum, situated on East Fanli Road, is comprised of three floors housing four different sections. The first floor is a public space which includes the information desk, a piano, a storage area and a scientific exhibition hall, which includes a scientific playground and a time tunnel machine. The second floor is a truly interactive experience furnished with an exhibit devoted to mathematical theories and mechanics. Meanwhile, the third floor is an exhibition hall for high-end new technologies.
During the visit, reporters experienced some of the exhibition projects and observed all the exhibited items, which left them all deeply impressed by the variety of high-end technology products.
The museum is scheduled to officially open to the public on Jan 1, 2017, before three-months of trail operation.
