It wouldn't be Chinese New Year without lanterns, enlightening the shadows of the past 12 months and revealing the way forward for the next 12. In keeping with tradition, the lanterns at Nanyang's Nature Dream Park were lit on Jan 21.
Crowds of locals were bathed in scenes inspired by Chinese tradition, myth, and legend. This year's displays caters for both young and old, and have also attracted displays from Zigong in Sichuan province, which are known for the being "the best on earth".
As well as the lights, visitors will also be able to snack on local specialty foods from stalls set up in the park.
The light display will run until Feb 14.
