Nanyang to construct innovation center with Zhongguancun

The Nanyang Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone (HTIDZ) has signed an agreement with Zhongguancun Science Park to construct a six-square-kilometer innovation center.

The project design has already been launched and more than 40 scientific and technological achievements are now in reserve. The HTIDZ has also set up 500 million yuan ($73.09 million).as an investment fund to support 50 key enterprises.

Nanyang has had many innovative achievements in recent years. In the second quarter of this year, the Nanyang Technology Big Market announced 285 scientific and technological achievements, 14 docked scientific and technological projects, and 12 signed projects, with a total contract amount of 495 million yuan.

Nanyang IEStreet has also introduced six enterprises and promoted 29 Nanyang enterprises listed in the Central Plains Stock Exchange through cooperation with Henan Guanzheng Enterprise Consulting Company.

In addition, the Danjiangkou Reservoir ecological test station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Wuhan Botanical Garden has started construction. The reservoir ecosystem field test station distributed in Danjiangkou and Xichuan can share and exchange data. The project is currently inviting public bidding.
