The first intelligent face recognition system in universities in Henan province was put into use at the Nanyang Institute of Technology to allow students to easily enter their dormitories.

The system can monitor students as they come and go. After inputting the daily class schedules of students, the system will send messages to the students themselves, their parents, counselors, and dormitory administrators if they are in or out for more than 24 hours.

The face recognition system can record correct and accurate access information, and provide real-time push notifications and inquiries by conducting big data analysis. It can provide data support for the management of apartments and students in order to improve security.

The new measure is expected to improve dormitory management efficiency at the university, making university students safer.
