Tanghe county is the main area of Nanyang yellow cattle, which is one of the top five varieties of fine yellow cattle. Spicy roast beef of the Qunfa brand dates back to 1997. It is made from fresh beef of Nanyang yellow cattle after dozens of processes. This kind of beef has good elasticity and an aromatic flavor, lean but not rough, and is also good for appetizing and fitness.

In 2002, the output of spicy roast beef from the Tanghe Beef Cattle (Group) Co. reached 3,000 tons, with a production value of over 40 million yuan ($6.52 million).
