Green belts surrounding Baihe River Avenue
Baihe River Avenue is connected to Weishi Road to the south and Funiu Road to the north, with green belts that surround it. They cover an area of 270 mu, with plants and flowers that blossom at different seasons, making the place ideal for entertainment, sightseeing, and leisure.

City roads
The major road in the city will be expanded, with special sections for bicycles, jogging, and non-car traffic being added. At the same time, roads that connect the most popular local tourist attractions, including the Rose Exhibition Park and Wuhou Temple, will be built.
Rose Park themed for international rose show
Nanyang has won the bid to host the 2019 World Federation Rose Society Regional Convention. The city will create themed parks to display Nanyang's achievements in the rose industry and greet rose experts from around the world.
The rose park will be made up of several sections, among which the Rose Themed Park, Lanhu Rose Garden, and Binhe Rose Garden are the most dominate ones.
The Rose Themed Park will be next to the high-speed train station in Nanyang's new district, and will cover 2,000 mu, and will be forged into a park that combines functions for rose appreciation, leisure, and entertainment for the tourists.
Lanhu Rose Garden will be located in the Lanhu Forest Park, covering an area of about 200 mu.
Binhe Rose Garden will be located near to Baihe River National Wetland Park, and will be built into a comprehensive park that occupies 200 mu.

Social green projects
Nanyang aims to not only grow plants and flowers in the main streets, but also the less-visible spaces, including alleys, street rails, building roofs and bridges, and motivate all local residents to take part in tree-planting activities.

Green projects surrounded by inland rivers
Landscapes along the routes of the Meixi River, Sanli River, and Hancheng River will be refreshed through landscaping and setting up sculptures. The renovation area will envelop as much as 652 mu.
