Nanyang Stadium was completed in 2006, following four years of construction work. The stadium covers an area of 9,765 square meters, with seating capacity of 5,800, and is separated into six major sections, including a training region and a field for athletic contests.
The stadium has hosted numerous events, such as the Nanyang Jade-carving Festival and the Rose Culture Festival. The most significant event held in Nanyang Stadium was the 7th National Farmers' Games in 2012, when the stadium proved itself as an international and highly advanced venue.

Honorable Mention Prize — Feng Youlan Memorial Hall
The Tanghe government invested 20 million yuan ($3.14 million) to build this memorial hall to commemorate Feng Youlan in 2011.
Feng Youlan (1895-1990), born in Tanghe county of Nanyang, was one of the most renowned Chinese scholars and championed the history of Chinese philosophy in the modern era.
Feng published a series of books, including New Rational Philosophy and A New Treatise on the Nature of Tao. Some of his books were translated into different languages, and Feng's philosophic thoughts have had a great influence both at home and abroad.
The memorial hall, which exhibits Feng's articles, writings, and letters, has become one of the most popular local tourist attractions and played a vital role in promoting Feng's philosophy and spirit.
